AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
This picture was taken last December in Budapest. The picture shows the view of Budapest parliament house and its surrounding. The parliament building has been very stunning and very outstanding compare to any other building in Budapest, which make it a landmark for Hungary. Additionally, neo-gothic is the style of the parliament house. Furthermore, as can be seen, it is also located on the Pest side of Budapest near Danube River. Thus, this picture was chosen because it shows the parliament house clearly, and at the same time also shows the beauty of Danube River and the sky in Budapest.
AN IMAGE OF GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE
This is Dubai opera house that was designed by Zaha Hadid. This opera house was built on an island in Dubai Creek. One of the most interesting features of the opera house is the shape, which is like a sand dune. Based on the form, I think Dubai opera house can be a good example of a futuristic building.
BEST PIECE OF WORK BEFORE COMING TO UNIVERSITY
This lamp was created on November 2009. Actually, the aim of the task was to create a lamp, which illustrates Australia and still having some design principles in it. This lamp presented Sydney Opera House and some aboriginal art. Thus, I had to select certain materials that could strongly show those aspects and thought how to get those materials attached together. In addition, the design principles, which were shown in this lamp, were balance and scale.
